THE A487 TRUNK ROAD (RHYDYPENNAU, CEREDIGION) (30 MPH AND 40 MPH SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Environment, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, proposes to make an Order under sections 84(1) and (2) and 124 of, and paragraph 27 of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order will be to impose a thirty miles per hour speed limit on the length of the A487 Fishguard to Bangor Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) at Rhydypennau in the county of Ceredigion as specified in Schedule 1 to this notice and to impose a forty miles per hour speed limit in the length of the trunk road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. The proposed Order will also revoke The Trunk Road (A487) (Rhydypennau, Dyfed) (Restricted Roads and 40 mph Speed Limit) Order 1983 insofar as it relates to the lengths of the trunk road specified in the Schedules to this notice. During a period of 21 days from 13 March 2003, a copy of the proposed Order, together with a plan and a statement of reasons for the making of the Order, may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours at Bow Street Post Office, Bow Street, Aberystwyth, or may be obtained free of charge from the address below quoting Ref CZ510-2-22-17. Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and quoting Ref CZ 510-02-22-17, must be sent in writing to the Welsh Assembly Government, Transport Directorate, Roads Administration Division 3, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ, by 3 April 2003. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it. Schedule 2 That length of the trunk road which extends from a point 125 metres north of the centre of its junction with the B4353 (Borth Road) in a north-easterly direction to a point 460 metres north-east of the centre of its junction with the B4353.
