NOTICE OF INTENTION TO ADOPT AND OF PROPOSED FURTHER MODIFICATIONS TO PROPOSALS FOR
A LOCAL PLAN
The local inquiry into these proposals has been held and the report of the inspector,
Mrs Susan Holland, holding the inquiry has been considered by eChester-le-Street District
Council.
Chester-le-Street District Council propose to make further modifications to these
plan proposals. A list of the proposed modifications with the authority’s reasons
for proposing them, are available for inspection at:
The Planning Reception, Chester-le-Street District Council Offices, Civic Centre,
Newcastle Road, Chester-le-Street, 8.30 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Thursday, 8.30 am
to 4.30 pm on Fridays.
The libraries at Pelton, Sacriston and Chester-le-Street (please check for opening
hours).

Copies of the local plan.
The report of the inspector who held the inquiry and the authority’s statement of
reasons and decisions in light of the report.
Objections to, and representations in respect of, the proposed further modifications
should be sent in writing to: The Planning Services Manager, Chester-le-Street District
Council, Civic Centre, Newcastle Road, Chester-le-Street, County Durham DH3 3UT, before
5.00 pm on Tuesday 22 April 2003.
Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and
the grounds on which they are made. They may be accompanied by a request to be notified
at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan
proposals.
Notice of Intention to Adopt Proposals
If no objections are received during the period given for making objections, Chester-le-Street
District Council intend to adopt the proposals on the expiry of that period.
