INCREASE IN ON-STREET PARKING CHARGES

In accordance with the Council’s established policy, which is to encourage a higher turnover of visitor spaces and taking into account the increase in the rate of inflation since the tariff was first introduced, the rate for parking at all pay and display bays situated in the streets or parts of streets listed in the Schedule to this notice will increase as detailed in the table below.

Basic	30 pence	40 pence

The minimum fee payable will be 10 pence for a period of 15 minutes.
The new charges will become effective from 31 March 2003.
