ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE A414 TRUNK ROAD (COLNEY HEATH) (CLOSURE OF GAP IN THE CENTRAL RESERVATION) ORDER 2003

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he has made this Order under sections 1(1), 2(1) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on 24 February 2003, coming into force on 10 March 2003, on the A414 Trunk Road at Colney Heath in the City and District of St Albans in the county of Hertfordshire. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref 483) was published in Issue No 56821 of The London Gazette on 16 January 2003 and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice.
A copy of the made Order and of a plan illustrating the effect of the Order may be inspected during office hours at the offices of St Albans City and District Council, District Council Offices, Civic Centre, St Peter’s Street, St Albans, Hertfordshire AL1 3JE. They may also be obtained by application to Operations Directorate, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref HA/A414/41/7/120.
Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the ground that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any relevant Regulations made thereunder has not been complied with, may, within 6 weeks from 24 February 2003, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
