NOTICE OF VARIATION FOR CHANGES IN PENALTY CHARGE LEVELS

Notice is hereby given that following a determination by the Association of London Government Transport and Environment Committee, the Mayor of London and Secretary of State for Transport has approved the following alteration to parking charges. The new charges will take permanent effect from 1 April 2003. The fine payable for a Penalty Charge Notice issued within the borough will increase on the above date to: Band A  £100 (reduced to £50 on early settlement within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice). Band B  £80 (reduced to £40 on early settlement within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice). Penalty for contraventions of bus lane regulations—£100 (reduced to £50 on early settlement within 14 days from the date of issue of the Penalty Charge Notice). Other additional parking charges are: £65 to release from clamp £150 to release from pound £25 storage fee (per day) £65 disposal fee P Goodwin, Director of Planning and Transportation 6 March 2003.
