THE A483 TRUNK ROAD (BUILTH WELLS, POWYS) (PROHIBITION OF WAITING) ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that the Minister for Environment, acting on behalf of the National Assembly for Wales, proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 2, 4 and 124 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984.
The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit waiting on sides of the A483 Swansea to Manchester Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) at Builth Wells in the county of Powys described in the Schedule to this notice. Waiting is currently restricted on many of the sides of the trunk road concerned by virtue of “The Trunk Roads (A470/A483) (Builth Wells, Powys) (Traffic Regulation) Order 1985” which will be partly revoked insofar as it relates to the sides of the trunk road specified in the Schedule to this notice.
During a period of 21 days from 6 March 2003, a copy of the proposed Order together with a plan and a statement of reasons for the making of the Order, may be inspected, free of charge, during normal office hours at Powys County Council Divisional Office, Strand Hall, Strand Street, Builth Wells, Powys, or may be obtained, free of charge, from the address below quoting the reference number below.
Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made, and quoting Ref CZ510-2-21-15, must be sent in writing to the Welsh Assembly Government, Transport Directorate, Roads Administration Division 3, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ by 27 March 2003. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection, it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.

Lengths and sides of the trunk road at Builth Wells in the county of Powys.
The north-western side of that length of the trunk road known as High Street which extends from a point 43 metres south-west of its junction with Strand Street to a point 59 metres south-west of the same junction, a distance of 16 metres.
The south side of that length of the trunk road known as West Street which extends from a point 76 metres east of its junction with Smithfield Road to a point 88 metres east of the same junction, extending into Market Street, a distance of 12 metres.
