TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990

The Secretary of State for Transport, hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at 1-5 Webbs Close, Reading, Berkshire RG1 6JP. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the full planning permission granted to The Day Tanner Partnership by Reading Borough Council, on 12 November 2001, under Ref 01/00157/FUL. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be insepcted at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 6 March 2003, at the offices of Reading Borough Council, Civic Offices, Reading, Berkshire RG1 7TD, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East (quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/BERK/050) at the address below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/BEK/050, and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, Third Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it.
