THE A6 TRUNK ROAD (KIBWORTH, LEICESTERSHIRE) (40 MILES PER HOUR AND 50 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 200 

The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of, and paragraph 27(1) of Schedule 9, to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 on the A6 Trunk Road at Kibworth in the county of Leicestershire. The effect of the Order would be to impose: (a) a 40 miles per hour speed limit on the A6 Trunk Road from a point 73 metres south-east of its junction with the centreline of Marsh Drive to a point 160 metres south-east of the centreline of its junction with New Road. (b) a 50 miles per hour speed limit on the A6 Trunk Road from a point 160 metres south-east of the centreline of its junction with New Road to a point 265 metres south-east of the centreline of its junction with West Langton Road. A copy of the draft Order, together with plans illustrating the proposals, a copy of the Order and a statement of the Secretary of State’s reasons for proposing to make the Order, may be inspected during opening hours at Kibworth Library, Paget Street, Kibworth, Leicestershire LE8 0HW; Kibworth Post Office, High Street, Kibworth Beauchamps, Leicestershire, or may be seen at or obtained by application to the Highways Agency, Operations Division Secretariat, Broadway, Broad Street, Birmingham B15 1BL. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Highways Agency at the address given above.
