NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that David Christensen of Kingston Hill Farm, Kingston Bagpuize, Oxfordshire OX13 5HY, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from the Corrallian Beds Aquifer at National Grid Ref SU 4076 9997 at the above address.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 3 cubic metres per hour, 40 cubic metres per day, 14,600 cubic metres per year. The water will be used for general farm use other than spray irrigation.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Kingston Hill Farm, betwen 14 March 2003 and 14 April 2003.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Isis House, Howbery Park, Wallingford, Oxfordshire OX10 8BD, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
