TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990, SECTION 247

The Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea (“the Council”) hereby gives notice that an application for a stopping-up Order has been received and that it proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 to authorise the stopping-up of the highway described in the Schedule below. The proposed Order is to authorise the stopping-up of the highway in order to enable the development described in the Schedule below to be carried out. During the period ending 7 February 2003 a copy of the draft Order and any relevant plans or maps may be inspected, free of charge, between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.45 pm, Mondays to Thursdays and 9.00 am to 4.15 pm on Fridays at the Planning Information Office, Town Hall, Hornton Street, London W8 7NX, or may be obtained by post from the above address quoting Ref SO/02/005. During the period ending on 7 February 2003 any person may object to the making of the Order by notice in writing to the Director of Transportation and Highways.
