NOTICE OF ADOPTION OF A LOCAL PLAN
MENDIP DISTRICT LOCAL PLAN
On 19 December 2002, Mendip District Council adopted this plan with modifications. The adopted plan will form part of the development plan for the area of Mendip District Council. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Please note that on the first Friday of each month, the information points open half an hour later than advertised. The plan came into operation on its adoption. A person aggrieved by the proposals who desires to question their validity on the ground that they are not within the powers conferred by Part II of the Town and Country Planning Act 1990 or that any requirement of that Act or any regulation made under it has not been complied with in relation to the adoption of the proposals, may, within six weeks from 19 December 2002, make an application to the High Court under section 287 of the 1990 Act.
