THE A419 TRUNK ROAD (CALCUTT ACCESS ROADS) SUPPLEMENTARY SIDE ROADS ORDER 2002
The Secretary of State for Transport hereby gives notice that he proposes to make the following Order: An Order, under sections 12, 14 and 125 of the Highways Act 1980, in relation to the A419 Trunk Road in the county of Wiltshire, which will: (1) authorise him to: (a) improve highways, (b) stop up highways, (c) construct new highways, (d) stop up private means of access to premises, and (e) provide new means of access to premises, all in the vicinity of the A419 Trunk Road in the county of Wiltshire and (2) provide for the transfer of the new highway to Wiltshire County Council as Highway Authority as from the date on which he notifies them that it has been completed and is open to traffic. Copies of the Order and the plan referred to in it and the Environmental Statement, may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours from 9 December 2002 to 25 January 2003 or within 6 weeks from the date of first publication of this notice if that period expires later, at the Highways Agency, Private Finance Department, Zone 2/04K, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6HA; Highways Agency Library, Romney House, 43 Marsham Street, London SW1P 3HW; North Wiltshire District Council, Monkton Park, Chippenham, Wiltshire SN15 1ER; Cricklade Town Council, 113 High Street, Cricklade, Wiltshire SN6 6AE and Cricklade Library, 113 High Street, Cricklade, Wiltshire SN6 6AE. Any person may object to the making of this Order, not later than 25 January 2003 or within 6 weeks from the date of publication of this notice if that period expires later, by notice to the Secretary of State at the Highways Agency, Operations Directorate, Temple Quay House, 2 The Square, Temple Quay, Bristol BS1 6HA, quoting Ref HA 065/21/70 and stating the grounds of objection. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection or representation may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it.
