NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that G & G Mauro of 34 Bretforton Road, Badsey, Evesham, Worcestershire is applying to the Environment Agency to vary licence serial number 18/54/17/716/G, which authorises the abstraction of water from Underground Strata (Mercia Mudstone) at National Grid Ref SP 0555 5024 at Lodge Farm, Harvington, Worcestershire. The variation being appllied for is to increase the daily quantity from 70 cubic metres to 700 cubic metres and the annual quantity from 10,000 cubic metres to 45,000 cubic metres to include an additional borehole at SP 0555 5024, and to increase the area of land to be irigated, and to extend the period of abstraction to include October. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at 34 Bretforton Road, Badsey, Evesham, Worcestershire, between 28 November 2002 and 2 January 2003. Any person who wishes to make representation about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Riversmeet House, Newtown Industrial Estate, Northway Lane, Tewkesbury, Gloucestershire GL20 8JG, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
