GROUP LICENCE FOR BODIES APPROVED FOR SPECIFIC PURPOSES

I, Ray Hall, Director of Consumer Credit and Regulation in the Office of the Director General of Fair Trading (“the Director”) and a Member of the Director’s staff, being authorised in that behalf in writing by the Director, pursuant to Paragraph 7 of Schedule 1 to the Fair Trading Act 1973, hereby give general notice pursuant to section 30(5) of the Consumer Credit Act 1974 that under section 30(2) of that Act the Director has, on an application made by FIAC Ltd (henceforth known as “the Federation”), varied the Licence issued to the Federation in the following respect: To amend the registered address of the Federation to “12th Floor, New London Bridge House, 25 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9ST”. The Group Licence, as varied, is in respect of “FIAC Ltd, trading as the Federation of Information and Advice Centres, of 12th Floor, New London Bridge House, 25 London Bridge Street, London SE1 9ST, in respect of all paid up Members, Full and Associate, of the Federation which are from time to time recorded in the Federation’s register of names (but excluding those Members who make or require any charges, fees or commissions, in connection with any of their business activities) to carry on the business of Debt Adjusting and Debt Counselling.” The Group Licence is valid until 31 December 2004.
