NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A CONSENT TO DISCHARGE

Notice is given, as required by Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that the following application has been made to the Environment Agency, South West Region, Wessex Water Services Ltd has applied for variation of an existing Consent to Discharge from Shaftesbury STW at Gears Mill, Shaftesbury SP7 0LT. The proposal is to alter the treatment in order to ensure the works has adequate capacity for recent population and trade growth in the area.

Details of the application are contained in the register held by the Agency in its office at Rivers House, Sunrise Business Park, Higher Shaftesbury Road, Blandford DT11 8ST and may be inspected, free of charge, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
