THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTIONS) (AMENDMENT NO  ) ORDER 2002

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Islington is proposing to make the above-mentioned Orders under sections 6 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to, the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended.
2. The general effect of the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) (Amendment No  ) Order 2002, would be to:

(a) Further amend the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restrictions) Consolidation Order 2002, so that waiting by vehicles will be prohibited during the times stated on the lengths of road shown in the Schedule to this notice.
(b) Revoke the provisions of paragraph (g) (which states “vehicles waiting in Exmouth Market in connection with weddings, funerals and ceremonial occasions at the Church of Our Most Holy Redeemer”) in article 8 (Excepted vehicles) of Part III of the Islington (Waiting and Loading Restriction) Consolidation Order 2002.

3. A copy of the proposed Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to in paragraph 2 above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, can be inspected during normal office hours for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this notice or from when the Order is made at the following location:

5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to Kevin O’Leary, Director of Environment and Conservation, PO Box 3333, 222 Upper Street, London N1 1YA, within 21 days of the date of this notice. All objections or representations must specify the grounds on which they are made and include the Ref “W+L/T&D”.

Andover Road, between the north-eastern kerbline of Hornsey Road, and a point 8 metres north-east of that kerbline.
Calabria Road, the western arm—from a point 5 metres south-east of the common boundary of Nos 17 and 19 Calabria Road, extending south-eastwards for a distance of 7.5 metres; the eastern arm—the south side, from the eastern kerbline of Corsica Street, to a point opposite the common boundary between Nos 6 and 8 Calabria Road; the eastern arm—the north side, from the eastern kerbline of Corsica Street, to a point 2 metres west of the common boundary between Nos 29 and 31 Calabria Road.

Corsica Street, west side, between a point 1 metre south of the south-western kerbline of Calabria Road, and a point 2.5 metres south of the south-western boundary wall of No 25 Calabria Road; East side, between a point 1 metre south of the south-western kerbline of the western arm of Calabria Road, to a point 0.5 metres south of the south-western boundary wall of No 25 Calabria Road.
Hornsey Road, between a point opposite 1 metre south-east of the south-eastern wall of No 233 Hornsey Road, and a point 2.5 metres north-west of the common boundary between Nos 255 and 257 Hornsey Road.
Mackenzie Road, between a point 27 metres south-west of the south-western kerbline of Westbourne Road, south-westwards for a distance of 16 metres; the north-west side, between the eastern kerbline with Caledonian Road, and a point 5 metres east of that kerbline; the south-east side, between the eastern kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 49 metres east of that kerbline.

Keystone Crescent, at its northern junction with Caledonian Road, between the south-eastern kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 18.5 metres south-east of that kerbline; at its southern junction with Caledonian Road, between the eastern kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 18.5 metres east of that kerbline.

Caledonian Road, west side, between a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 108 and 110 Caledonian Road, and a point 5 metres north of the northern kerbline of Edward Square; between a point 5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Edward Square, to a point opposite the common boundary of Nos 416 and 420 Caledonian Road.
Carnegie Street, between the eastern kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 9 metres east of that kerbline.
Market Road, the north side, between a point 4 metres west of the western kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 6 metres west of a point opposite the western wall of No 18 Market Road; the southern side, between a point 7 metres west of the western kerbline of Caledonian Road, and a point 6 metres west of a point opposite the western wall of No 18 Market Road.

No waiting between 8.00 am and 6.30 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive and between 8.00 am and 1.30 pm on Saturdays.
