The Secretary of State hereby gives notice that he proposes to make an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, which will authorise the stopping-up of an area of highway at Burnham Library, Windsor Lane, Burnham, Buckinghamshire SL1 7HR. If the Order is made, the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted under Part III of the Act to Community Services—Libraries by Buckinghamshire County Council on 16 January 2002 under Ref CC/63/01. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected, at all reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 9 August 2002, at the offices of South Buckinghamshire District Council, Council Offices, Windsor Road, Slough, Buckinghamshire SL1 2HN, and may be obtained, free of charge, from the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East (quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/BUCK/010) at the adddress below. During the above-mentioned period of 28 days anyone may object to the making of the Order by writing to the Secretary of State, quoting Ref GOSE/029/001/BUCK/010 and addressing their objection to the Head of Transport (West), Government Office for the South East, Third Floor, Bridge House, 1 Walnut Tree Close, Guildford GU1 4GA. In the preparation of an objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any objection may be communicated to the applicant and other people who may be affected by it.
