THE CAMDEN (PROHIBITION OF STOPPING OUTSIDE SCHOOLS) (NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 1999 (AMENDMENT NO 1) TRAFFIC ORDER 2002

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Camden, on 5 August 2002 made the above mentioned Orders. The details of which were previously published in The London Gazette and local paper on 5 July 2002. The general nature and effect of the (Bus Lane) Order will be to introduce a new “with-flow” Bus Lane in Haverstock Hill, as shown in the table below. The general nature and effect of the (Waiting and Loading) Order will be: to extend the existing waiting restrictions in Haverstock Hill to correspond to the new additional proposed times and length of the bus lane. to introduce new “at any time”, loading restrictions in that part of Haverstock Hill on the north-east side, from the south-western kerbline of Adelaide Road north-westward for a distance of 153 metres. The general nature and effect of the (Schools) Order will be to revoke the existing “no stopping” zig-zag road markings outside of Haverstock School. Table Bus Lane

A copy of the Orders, which will come into force on 22 August 2002, a plan and the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Orders, may be inspected/purchased during normal office hours at the Environment Reception, Fifth Floor, Camden Town Hall, Argyle Street Entrance, London WC1H 8EQ. Any person wanting to question the validity of the Orders, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof have not been complied with in relation to the Orders, may, within 6 weeks of the date on which the Orders was made, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
