HIGHWAY AT WINYATES WAY (PART), MATCHBOROUGH, REDDITCH, WORCESTERSHIRE

The Secretary of State, hereby gives notice that he has made an Order, under section 247 of the above Act, entitled “The Stopping-up of Highways (County of Worcestershire) (No 1) Order 2002”, authorising the stopping-up of highway at Winyates Way (Part), Matchborough, Redditch, Worcestershire. The Order as made, will authorise the stopping-up only to enable the development described in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission granted by Redditch Borough Council on 29 September 1998, under Ref 98/358. Copies of this Order may be obtained, free of charge, on application to the Government Office for the West Midlands at the offices of the Director, South Eastern Division, 77 Paradise Circus, Queensway, Birmingham B1 2DT (quoting Ref 5058/35/1/59) and may be inspected, at all reasonable hours, at Redditch Borough Council, Town Hall, Alcester Street, Redditch, Worcestershire B98 8AH. Any person aggrieved by the Order and desiring to question the validity thereof, or of any provision contained therein, on the grounds that it is not within the powers of the above Act or that any requirement of that Act or of any regulation made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order, may, within 6 weeks of 31 July 2002, apply to the High Court for the suspension or quashing of the Order or of any provisions contained therein.
