NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR VARIATION OF A CONSENT TO DISCHARGE

Notice is given, as required by Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991, that the following application has been made to the Environment Agency, South West Region. Bristol Water has applied for variation of an existing Consent to Discharge from Barrow Water Treatment Works at Hern Lane, Barrow Gurney, Bristol. The water treatment works is being improved which will involve the relocation of the discharge point, a change in the nature of the discharge and an increase in the volume discharged.

Details of the application are contained in the Register held by the Agency in its office at Rivers House, East Quay, Bridgwater, Somerset, and may be inspected, free of charge, from 9.00 am to 5.00 pm, Monday to Friday inclusive.
