NOTICE BY HIGHWAY AUTHORITY OF INTENTION TO APPLY TO MAGISTRATES’ COURT FOR ORDER UNDER SECTION 116 OF THE HIGHWAYS ACT 1980 FOR STOPPING-UP OR DIVERSION

Notice is hereby given that the application made to the Justices sitting at Camberwell Green Magistrates Court, 15 D’Eynsford Road, London SE5, on 2 July 2002, at 2.00 pm, for an Order stopping-up of that length of Somers Road, London SW2, which lies between the common boundary of No 2 Archbishop’s Place and No 29 Somers Road and a point 8 metres north-west of that boundary on the grounds that the said highway is unnecessary, has now been adjourned until Friday 23 August 2002, at 10.00 am. The hearing will now take place at Tower Bridge Magistrates’ Court, 211 Tooley Street, London SE1. A plan showing the effect of the proposed Order may be inspected at Lambeth Council, Transportation & Highways Group, 3rd Floor, Blue Star House, 234-244 Stockwell Road, London SW9 9SP, between the hours of 10.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday.
