THE BROMLEY (FREE PARKING PLACES) (TIME RESTRICTED) ORDER 1997 (AMENDMENT NO 16) ORDER 2002

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Bromley, hereinafter called “the Council” proposes to make the above-mentioned Orders under section 6 and 124 and Part IV of Schedule 5 to the Local Government Act 1985, sections 64 to 81 inclusive and Schedules 6 and 7 of the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Orders would be to: (a) replace the short term parking bay outside 293 Upper Elmers End Road, Beckenham, with a disabled persons only parking place which would operate “At any time”—Maximum stay 3 hours. A copy of the proposed Orders, and of the Orders being amended can be inspected during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays at the Bromley Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH. Any person wishing to object to the proposed Orders should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to the Director of Environmental Services, Civic Centre, Stockwell Close, Bromley BR1 3UH, quoting Ref ADE(TP)/CC/T100/369 not later than 12 April 2002. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be aware that under the provisions of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, any comments received in response to this notice may be open to public inspection.
