The Borough Solicitor of the London Borough of Barnet hereby gives notice that the London Borough of Barnet (“the Council”) proposes to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act to authorise the stopping-up of a section of public highway at the junction of Station Road and Manor Park Crescent in the London Borough of Barnet. The proposed Order will not be made unless planning permission for the development described in the Schedule to this notice is granted, and in that event the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable that development to be carried out in accordance with that planning permission. Planning permission for that development was applied for by Gerald Knight Associates Ltd, on 20 October 2000, under application No W01207G/00. The proposed Order will require the stopping-up of a 110 square metres of footway on the northern footway of Manor Park Crescent at the junction with Station Road in the London Borough of Barnet. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected between the hours of 9.00 am and 4.30 pm Monday to Friday during 28 days commencing on 25 March 2002, at the Council Offices at both Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ and Town Hall, The Burroughs, Hendon, London NW4 4BG, and may be obtained, free of charge, from those addresses. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period of 28 days commencing on 25 March 2002, by written notice to the acting Head of Planning, Highways and Design, quoting the reference given at the bottom of this notice, Barnet House, 1255 High Road, Whetstone, London N20 0EJ. In making an objection it should be kept in mind that the substance of it may be disclosed to other persons affected by it, and that those persons may wish to communicate with the objector about it.
