THE CITY OF WESTMINSTER (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO ) ORDER 200
GLOUCESTER TERRACE, HARROW ROAD, LORD HILLS BRIDGE AND PORCHESTER ROAD
1. Notice is hereby given, that Westminster City Council propose to make the above-mentioned
Orders under sections 6, 45, 46, 49 and 124 of, and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road
Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985.
2. The general effect of the Parking Place Order would be to:
(a) provide a residents’ parking place on the north-east side of Gloucester Terrace,
near its junction with Bishop’s Bridge Road; and
(b) provide that in respect of the residents’ parking place, that the classes of
vehicles for which it would be available, the hours during which it would operate
and all the time limits during which vehicles may be left in the parking place would
be the same as for residents parking places in the vicinity.
3. The general effect of the Waiting and Loading Restriction Order would be to further
amend the City of Westminster (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No 1) Order 2002,
so that:
(a) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 1 to this notice, the hours during
which the existing prohibition applies on:
(i) waiting by vehicles (otherwise than for the purpose of delivering or collecting
goods or loading or unloading a vehicle) would be changed so that it would apply at
any time;
(ii) waiting by vehicles for more than 20 minutes in the same place for the purpose
of delivering or collecting goods or loading or unloading a vehicle would be changed
so that it would apply between 11.00 am and 6.30 pm throughout the week.
(b) in the lengths of streets specified in Schedule 2 to this notice, the hours during
which the existing prohibition applies on:
(i) waiting by vehicles for the purpose of delivering or collecting goods or loading
or unloading a vehicle, would be changed so that it would be prohibited at any time.
4. The Orders, and other documents giving more detailed particulars of the Orders
are available for inspection between 9.00 am and 5.00 pm on Mondays to Fridays inclusive
at Parkman Ltd, Third Floor, Mountbarrow House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W
9RB, until 6 weeks have elapsed from the date on which either the Orders are made
or the Council decides not to make the Orders.

6. Any objections or other representations about either of the proposed Orders should
be sent in writing to the Council’s agents, Parkman Ltd, Third Floor, Mountbarrow
House, 6-20 Elizabeth Street, London SW1W 9RB, quoting Ref 28390/WES1750/ORD/2690/JP,
until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is
published. All objections must specify the grounds on which they are made.

Schedule 1
(No waiting at any time)
Gloucester Terrace, the north-east side, between the north-western kerbline of Bishop’s
Bridge Road and a point 38 metres north-west of that kerbline.
Harrow Road, the south side, between the western kerbline of Lord Hills Bridge and a point 15
metres west of that kerbline.
Lord Hills Bridge:
(a) the east side:
(i) between the southern kerbline of Harrow Road and a point 31.2 metres south of
that kerbline;
(ii) between a point 56.2 metres south of the southern kerbline of Harrow Road and
the junction with Porchester Road;
(b) the west side.
Porchester Road, the north-east side:
(i) between a point 1.5 metres south of the southern kerbline of Celbridge Mews and
a point 19 metres north-west of the north-western kerbline of Gloucester Terrace;
(ii) between a point 22 metres north-west of a point opposite the party wall of Nos
13 and 15 to 23 Porchester Road and a point 34 metres south-east of the south-eastern
kerbline of Porchester Square.
Schedule 2
(No waiting and loading at any time)
Harrow Road, the south side, between the western kerbline of Lord Hills Bridge and a point 15
metres west of that kerbline.
Lord Hills Bridge, between the southern kerbline of Harrow Road and a point 15 metres south of that
kerbline.
