NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER
Take notice that Robert Charles Huddlestone, t/a Huddlestone Produce, of Grove Farm,
Boothferry Road, Howden, near Goole, is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence
to abstract water from a borehole in the Sherwood Sandstone at National Grid Ref SE
7400 2670, at Grove Farm, Boothferry Road, Howden, near Goole.
The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 20.46 cubic metres per
hour, 327 cubic metres per day, 22,730 cubic metres between April and October each
year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. This is to replace a time limited
licence which has expired. There is no increase in water.
A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it
may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Grove Farm, Boothferry
Road, Howden, near Goole, between 7 March 2002 and 4 April 2002.
Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so
in writing to the Environment Agency, North East, Phoenix House, Global Avenue, Leeds
LS11 8PG, before the end of the said period.
