NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT IN PURSUANCE OF SCHEDULE 10 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)

Notice is hereby given, in accordance with Schedule 10 of the Water Resources Act 1991 (as amended by the Environment Act 1995), that an application has been made to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region, by Schlumberger Evaluation & Production Services Ltd. for consent to discharge 31.5 cubic metres per day of Treated Sewage Effluent from The Training Centre, The Old Airfield, Bottesford, Nottingham into a tributary of Ease Drain at National Grid Ref SK 8230 4285. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Planning Manager (Northern Area), Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA, to arrive not later than 21 December 2001, quoting Ref No PRNNF/12717. A copy of the application may be inspected free of charge at the offices of the Environment Agency, Waterside House, Waterside North, Lincoln LN2 5HA at all reasonable hours. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties, it is decided that consent can be given, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
