THE EALING (20 MPH ZONE) (NO 5) TRAFFIC ORDER 2001

1. Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Ealing, hereinafter called the Council, on 9 November 2001, made the above-mentioned Order under section 84 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The effect of the Order will be to prohibit all vehicles from exceeding a speed of 20 miles per hour on the lengths of streets specified in the Schedule to this notice. 3. A copy of the Order, which will come into operation on 12 November 2001, of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order and a plan showing the locations may be inspected during a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, at Parkman Consultancy, Transportation Section, 24 Uxbridge Road, Ealing, London W5 2BP. Copies of the Order may be purchased at this address. 4. Any person desiring to question the validity of the Order or of any provision contained therein on the grounds that it is not within the relevant powers of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, or that any of the relevant requirements thereof or of any relevant regulations made thereunder has not been complied with in relation to the Order may, within 6 weeks of the making of the Order, make application for the purpose to the High Court.
