HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116

Notice is hereby given that application will be made to the Justices of the Peace sitting at the Magistrates Court, College Lane, King’s Lynn, Norfolk, on Thursday 22 November 2001, at 11.00 am, for an Order authorising the stopping-up of a section of highway located on the unclassified County Highway U21001 Meadowgate Lane in the parish of Emneth. The section of highway to be stopped up is approximately 42 metres long with an average width of 4.5 metres. The total area to be stopped up is approximately 189 square metres. A plan showing the land coloured in red which is the subject of this application may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at County Hall, Martineau Lane, Norwich, and at the offices of the Borough Council of King’s Lynn and West Norfolk, King’s Court, Chapel Street, King’s Lynn. Any person using the highway or any person aggrieved by the making of the Order, has a right to be heard before the Justices.
