THE A41 TRUNK ROAD (CAMDEN) RED ROUTE TRAFFIC ORDER 1998 VARIATION ORDER 2001

1. Transport for London hereby gives notice that on 4 September 2001 it made the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. 2. The general nature and effect of the Order will be to: (a) reduce by 6 metres the length of the parking box outside the Odeon Cinema, Swiss Cottage; (b) relax the present restriction to allow parking in that box between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday for up to 1 hour; (c) provide a 6 metre long parking box for the unrestricted use of disabled persons’ badge holders between 7.00 am and 7.00 pm Monday to Saturday, to the north of the above amended box. 3. The road affected by the Order is Finchley Road. 4. A copy of the Order, a statement of Transport for London’s reasons for the proposal, a map indicating the location and effect of the Order and copies of any Order revoked, suspended or varied by the Order can be inspected during normal office hours at the offices of: Transport for London, Street Management, Statutory Functions, Traffic Orders, College House, Great Peter Street, London SW1P 3LN; Camden Borough Council, Engineering & Traffic Service, London Borough of Camden, 4th Floor, Town Hall, Argyle Street, London WC1H 8EQ. 5. Applications to the High Court challenging the legality of the Order should be made within 6 weeks of the date on which the Order was made.
