NEW ROADS AND STREET WORKS ACT 1991, SECTION 58

NOTICE OF SUBSTANTIAL ROAD WORKS

1. Three months’ advance notice is hereby given that Derbyshire County Council as Highway Authority intends to carry out substantial works for road purposes. 2. The streets in which these works will take place are: (a) A511—Burton Road, Midway. (b) A444—Woodland Road, Stanton. 3. Works are expected to affect the: (a) A511 between James Street to Sandcroft Close; and (b) A444 between Briddle Lane to B5353 Park Road. 4. Works are expected to commence on 22 October 2001. 5. The works notified will include the following: (a) Carriageway resurfacing; and (b) Carriageway resurfacing. 6. Subject to the exemptions in the Act and regulations under it, no street works may be executed for a period of 12 months from the completion of the works described in paragraph 5 without the consent of the said Highway Authority, which shall not be unreasonably withheld.
