Dr. J. Pike, University of Cardiff | Ship-based studies of modern diatom floral assemblages along a transect from the Falkland Plateau to the Weddell Sea. |
Ms. S. Suhr, Southampton Oceanography Centre | Ecology and diversity of benthic foraminifera in a shallow-water Antarctic marine environment near Rothera, Antarctica. |
Professor D. J. Read, University of Sheffield | Ship-supported studies of dark septate fungi in Antarctic plant and soil communities across a broad latitudinal range in the Antarctic Peninsula region. |
Dr. P. T. Leat, British Antarctic Survey | Air and ship-supported geological studies of primitive basaltic dykes in north-eastern Palmer Land and northern Graham Land. |
Dr J. M. McArthur, University College, London | Geological studies of late Cretaceous radiation and extinction events in northern James Ross Island. |
