NOTICE OF APPLICATION TO VARY A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Frederick Hiam Limited of Manor Farm, Ixworth Thorpe, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk, is applying to the Environment Agency Anglian Region to vary Licence No. 6/33/45/G/65 (Brandon Fields) (Incorporating No. 6/33/56/G/235) which authorises the abstraction of water from boreholes at National Grid References TL 7536 8651 and TL 7476 8524 in the parish of Brandon in the district of Forest Heath in the county of Suffolk. The variation being applied for is to add a borehole for vegetable washing. The total quantity of abstraction remains unchanged. A copy of the application and of any maps, plans or other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours between 3rd May 2001 and 3rd June 2001, at the following locations: Frederick Hiam Ltd, Manor Farm, Ixworth Thorpe, Bury St. Edmunds, Suffolk and Frederick Hiam Ltd, Brandon Fields Estate, Brandon, Suffolk. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Anglian Region central area, Bromholme Lane, Brampton, Huntingdon PE18 8NE before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
