TOWN AND COUNTRY PLANNING ACT 1990
The Mayor and Burgesses of the London Borough of Enfield hereby give notice that they
propose to make an Order under section 247 of the above Act (as amended by Schedule
22 to the Greater London Authority Act 1999) to authorise the stopping-up of those
sections of the highways at Edmonton Green Shopping Centre, Edmondon, London N.9,
as the same are more particularly defined in the Schedule hereto. If the Order is
made the stopping-up will be authorised only in order to enable the development described
in the Schedule to this notice to be carried out in accordance with the planning permission
granted to St. Modwen Developments (Edmonton) Limited, of Second Floor, 28-29 Dover
Street, London W1X 3PA by the London Borough of Enfield on 18th September 2000 under
Ref. TP/00/0500. Copies of the draft Order and relevant plan may be inspected at all
reasonable hours during the 28 days commencing on 1st February 2001 at the offices
of the London Borough of Enfield at Civic Centre, Silver Street, Enfield, Middlesex
EN1 3XA, and may be obtained, free of charge, from that address quoting Ref. LS/P/AGM/Edmonton
Green. Any person may object to the making of the proposed Order within the period
of 28 days commencing on 1st February 2001 by notice addressed to the Solicitor to
the Council, London Borough of Enfield, P.O. Box 50, Civic Centre, Silver Street,
Enfield, Middlesex EN1 3XA, quoting Ref. LS/P/AGM/Edmonton Green. In preparing an
Objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any such Objection may
be imparted to other persons who may be affected by it and that those persons may
wish to communicate with the Objector concerning the Objection. The plan showing the
nature and extent of the proposed Order is deposited at the address given above under
Ref. TRDESC.046-03/B. Schedule The numbering in this Schedule refers to the numbering on the plan showing the extent
