THE BRENT (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO.   ) TRAFFIC ORDER 200

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Brent propose to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by section 8 of, and Part 1 of Schedule 5 to, the Local Government Act 1985. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to impose one way working, south-eastwards, in the unnamed service road fronting Nos. 22 to 44 Fryent Way. 3. The prohibition referred to in paragraph 2 above would not apply to anything done with the permission or at the direction of a police constable in uniform or in accordance with any restriction or requirement indicated by traffic signs placed on the highway by or on behalf of the Metropolitan Police. 4. A copy of the proposed Order, of a map of the relevant area and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected, during normal office hours on Mondays to Fridays inclusive, until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published, at The One Stop Shop, Brent Town Hall, Forty Lane, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 9HX; and The One Stop Shop, Brent House, 349-357 High Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 6BZ. 5. Further information may be obtained by telephoning the Transportation Service Unit on 020-8937 5145. 6. Persons desiring to object to the proposed Order should send a statement in writing of their objection and the grounds thereof to The Director of Transportation, Transportation Service Unit, 3rd Floor (west), Brent House, 349-357 High Road, Wembley, Middlesex HA9 6BZ, quoting Ref.
