THE STAFFORDSHIRE COUNTY COUNCIL TO RUGELEY EASTERN BYPASS STAGE 2 SIDE ROADS ORDER 2001

The Staffordshire County Council hereby give notice that they have made, and submitted to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions for confirmation, an Order under sections 14, 125 and 129 of the Highways Act 1980, authorising the Council to: (a) improve highways (including raising, lowering or otherwise altering), (b) stop up highways, (c) construct new highways, (d) stop up private means of access to premises, (e) provide new means of access to said premises, all on or in the vicinity of the route of a new classified road which the Council are proposing to construct between the A51 Wolseley Road, Rugeley, and the roundabout junction of Lea Hall Link Road and Power Station Road, Rugeley, in the county of Stafford. Copies of the Order and of the relevant plans may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours, from 5th January 2001 until 19th February 2001, at the offices of the Cannock Chase District Council, Civic Centre, Beecroft Road, Cannock WS11 1BG, Stafford Borough Council, Civic Offices, Riverside, Stafford ST16 3AQ, Lichfield District Council, Frog Lane, Lichfield WS13 6YU, Cannock Chase District Council, Anson Street, Rugeley, Staffordshire WS15 2BY, and Staffordshire County Council, County Buildings, Martin Street, Stafford ST16 2LH. Any person may, not later than 19th February 2001, object to the confirmation of the Order by notice to the Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions, Local Authority Orders Section, Wellbar House, Gallowgate, Newcastle upon Tyne NE1 4TD, stating the grounds of their objection.
