PROPOSED 7.5 TONNE AREA LORRY BAN IN POWDER MILL LANE AND THE WOODLAWN ESTATE
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames propose to make an Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The general effect of the Order would be to introduce a ban on all vehicles exceeding 7.5 tonnes maximum gross weight from proceeding in the streets or lengths of street located in Whitton specified in the Schedule to this notice, except for the purposes of loading or unloading. Copies of the draft Order, of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order, and of a plan showing the road or lengths of road affected by the Order may be inspected at the Civic Centre, (2nd Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between the hours of 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Persons desiring to object to the proposals should write to the Head of Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ, within 21 days of the date of this notice, giving the grounds of their objection.
