ROAD TRAFFIC REGULATION ACT 1984

THE M2 MOTORWAY (JUNCTION 2—A228 LINK ROAD) (40 MILES PER HOUR SPEED LIMIT) ORDER 2000

The Secretary of State for the Environment, Transport and the Regions hereby gives notice that he made this Order, under sections 84(1)(a) and (2) of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, on 16th October 2000, coming into force on 30th October 2000, on a link road connecting the M2 Motorway at Junction 2 in the council area of Medway in the county of Kent. The notice of the proposal to make it (Ref. 508) was published in Issue No. 55926 of The London Gazette on 28th July 2000, and the effect of the Order is as described in that notice. A copy of the made Order, of a plan illustrating the effect of the Order and of the temporary Order may be inspected, during office hours, at the offices of Medway Council, Highways Department, Compass Centre, Chatham Maritime. They may also be obtained by application to Project Services, Floor 3A, Highways Agency, Federated House, London Road, Dorking, Surrey RH4 1SZ, quoting Ref. HA/M2/28/2/62.
