SECTION 116, HIGHWAYS ACT 1980

Take notice that Birmingham City Council, being the Highway Authority for the City of Birmingham, intends to apply to the Magistrates Court sitting at Victoria Law Courts, Birmingham, on Friday, 27th October 2000, at 10 a.m., for an Order that the highways in Birmingham known as: (1) Halford Grove, Pype Hayes (2) Part of Gunter Road, Pype Hayes including two triangular shaped splays comprising of verge and footway at the junction of Gunter Road and Chester Road, and the semicircular area of highway comprising of verge and footway fronting 63-81 Gunter Road be authorised to be stopped up on the ground that they are unnecessary. The effect of the said Order is shown in the plan which may be inspected, free of charge, at the offices of the Council’s Legal Services Department, Ingleby House, 11-14 Cannon Street, Birmingham B2 5EN, on weekdays during normal office hours.
