THE SUTTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (NO.  ) (AMENDMENT NO.  ) ORDER 200 
SUTTON HOSPITAL AREA PARKING CONTROLS—STAGE 1 AMENDMENT (CHILTERN ROAD)

Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Sutton proposes to make the above-mentioned Order under sections 6, 7(1) and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The principal objective of the Order is to introduce additional “one-hour” restrictions in Chiltern Road to regulate existing on-street parking demand, thereby improving local conditions for residents and to improve road safety in the area. The general effect of The Sutton (Waiting and Loading Restriction) (No.  ) (Amendment No.  ) Ordeer 200  will be to introduce waiting restrictions “between 10 a.m. and 11 a.m. and between 2 p.m. and 3 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays inclusive” for the lengths of road specified in the schedule to this notice. Full deetails of the proposal are contained in the following documents: (a) the draft Order; (b) the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order; and (c) plan showing the location and effect of the proposal. If you wish to object to the proposed Order you should send a statement in writing, including the grounds for your objection and quoting Ref. WL280 to the following address by Friday, 29th September 2000. Persons objecting to the proposed Order should be made aware that in view of the Local Government (Access to Information) Act 1985, this Council would be legally obliged to make any comments received in response to this notice open to public inspection, if requested.
