THE LONDON BOROUGH OF RICHMOND-UPON-THAMES WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION (SPECIAL PARKING AREA) (AMENDMENT NO. 14) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000
The Council of the London Borough of Richmond-upon-Thames on 30th August 2000, made the above Order under sections 6 and 124 of and Part IV of Schedule 9 to the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984 (as amended) and the Road Traffic Act 1991. The general effect of the Order will be to upgrade existing single yellow line waiting restrictions to double yellow lines applying at any time in: (a) High Street, Hampton, on its north-west side, from the junction with Ormond Avenue to a point approximately 15 metres south-west of its junction with Sheridan Place; and (b) Middle Lane, Teddington, between its junctions with The Causeway and Elleray Road. Copies of the Order, which will come into operation on 4th September 2000, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for making the Order can be inspected for a period of 6 weeks from the date of this notice at the Civic Centre (Second Floor), 44 York Street, Twickenham, between 9.15 a.m. and 5 p.m. on Mondays to Fridays. Copies of the Order may be purchased from Highways and Transport, Civic Centre, 44 York Street, Twickenham TW1 3BZ. Any person wishing to question the validity of the Order or any of its provisions on the grounds that it or they are not within the powers conferred by the 1984 Act, or that any requirement of the Act or of any Instrument made under the Act has not been complied with that person may, within 6 weeks from the date on which the Order was made, apply for the purpose to the High Court.
