THE HOUNSLOW (PRESCRIBED ROUTE) (NO.*) TRAFFIC ORDER 2000
REMOVAL OF “NO ENTRY EXCEPT CYCLES” IN WORPLE ROAD, ISLEWORTH
Notice is hereby given that the Council of the London Borough of Hounslow propose
to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act
1984, as amended by the Local Government Act 1985 and the Road Traffic Act 1991.
The general effect of the Order would be to revoke the prohibition on vehicles, other
than pedal cycles, proceeding in a south-westerly direction in Worple Road, Isleworth,
entering that length of Worple Road that lies south-west of the southern kerb-line
of Talbot Road, imposed by the Hounslow (Prescribed Routes) (No. 3) Traffic Order
1989.
A copy of the proposed Order, together with a copy of the Order of 1989 of the Council’s
statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order and of a plan depicting the length
of road to which the Order relates, can be inspected, during normal office hours on
Mondays to Fridays inclusive until the expiration of a period of 21 days from the
date on which this notice is published, in the Environmental Services Reception Area,
at the Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN.

Any person desiring to object to the proposed Order, should send a statement in writing
of their objection and the grounds thereof, to the Director of Environmental Services,
London Borough of Hounslow, The Civic Centre, Lampton Road, Hounslow TW3 4DN, quoting
Ref. TP/DN/592, within the previously mentioned period of 21 days.
