THE A477 TRUNK ROAD (LLANION CEMETERY LAYBY, PEMBROKE DOCK, PEMBROKESHIRE) (PROHIBITION AND RESTRICTION OF WAITING) ORDER 200-

Notice is hereby given that the Assembly Secretary for Environment proposes to make an Order under sections 1, 2 and 4 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984. The effect of the proposed Order will be to prohibit the waiting of vehicles in those lengths of the A477 Trunk Road (hereinafter referred to as “the trunk road”) specified in Schedule 1 to this notice and to restrict the waiting of vehicles in that length of the trunk road specified in Schedule 2 to this notice. During a period of 4 weeks from 2nd August 2000, copies of the Order and the associated plan may be inspected, free of charge, during normal opening hours, at the Post Office, Diamond Street, Pembroke Dock. Copies may also be obtained, free of charge, from the address below quoting the National Assembly for Wales’ Ref. CZ 510-2-27-7. Objections, specifying the grounds on which they are made and quoting the above reference, must be sent in writing to the National Assembly for Wales Transport Directorate, Cathays Park, Cardiff CF10 3NQ, by 30th August 2000. In the preparation of an objection and the statement of grounds of objection it should be borne in mind that the substance of any grounds of objection may be communicated to other people who may be affected by it. Schedule 1 Prohibition of Waiting at Any Time (a) That length of the north side of the Llanion Cemetery layby on the Trunk Road known as London Road which extends from a point 55 metres east of the access to the Cemetery in an easterly direction for 18 metres to the east junction of the layby to London Road; (b) That length of the north side of the Llanion Cemetery layby on the Trunk Road known as London Road which extends from a point at the west junction of the layby to London Road in an easterly direction for 58 metres to a point 13 metres east of the access to the Cemetery; (c) That length of the north side of the kerbed island segregating the layby from the free flowing traffic on the Trunk Road known as London Road for its entire length of 45 metres. Schedule 2 Waiting restricted to 2 hours in any period between 0800-1800 hours on any day That length of the north side of the Llanion Cemetery layby on the Trunk Road known as London Road, which extends from a point 13 metres east of the access to Llanion Cemetery in an easterly direction for 42 metres.
