PUBLIC NOTIFICATION OF AN APPLICATION MADE UNDER SECTION 11 OF THE ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION ACT 1990, PART 1

INTEGRATED POLLUTION CONTROL

Notice is hereby given that Wychem Limited, has applied to the Environment Agency for an Integrated Pollution Control (IPC) authorisation for a section 4.2; Manufacture and Use of Organic Chimicals Process, at Haverhill Road, Stradishall, in the Borough of St. Edmundsbury, in the county of Suffolk. Information relating to the above IPC application, for authorisation to operate the manufacture and use of organic chemicals, is held in registers at: The Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Kingfisher House, Goldhay Way, Orton Goldhay, Peterborough PE2 5ZR; and St. Edmundsbury Borough Council, Borough Offices, Angel Hill, Bury St. Edmunds IP33 1XB. Members of the public can inspect these registers, free of charge, at the above stated addresses during normal office hours. In addition, Members of the public who wish to obtain a copy of the relevant information contained in the registers can do so upon payment of a reasonable charge to cover the cost of copying. Any objections or representations to the above IPC application should be made in writing to The Environment Agency, Anglian Region, Eastern Area, Cobham Road, Ipswich IP3 9JE, within 28 days from the date of public notice. Any such objections or representations will be entered into a public register unless the person making them requests in writing that they should not be so placed. If there is such a request, the register will only include a statement that there has been a request. In this case there will be included in the register a statement indicating only that representations have been made which have been the subject of such a request.
