NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO OBSTRUCT OR IMPEDE THE FLOW OF AN INLAND WATER BY MEANS OF IMPOUNDING WORKS
Take notice that Carol Murray-M c Auley of Mill House, Upper Newton, Wolfscastle, Pembrokeshire, is applying for a licence to obstruct or impede the flow of an un-named watercourse being within the catchment of the western Cleddau at National Grid Reference SM 9445 2620 at Mill House, Upper Newton, within The Wolfscastle Community Council Area. Water will be impounded by means of an impounding reservoir and the object of the impounding works is to create an amenity water feature and wildlife habitat the capacity of the reservoir will be 3,500 cubic metres at overflow level. A copy of the application, together with plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Mill House, Upper Newton, Wolfscastle, between 4th July and 14th August 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Llys Afon, Hawthorn Rise, Haverfordwest SA61 2BQ, before the end of the said period, quoting the name of the applicant.
