HIGHWAYS ACT 1980, SECTION 116 APPLICATION
RAILWAY BRIDGE 205, ALLINGTON AND LAVERSTOCK AND FORD RUPP 19

Notice is hereby given that Wiltshire County Council intends to make applications to the Magistates’ Court sitting at Salisbury in the said county at 2 p.m., on Tuesday, 1st August 2000, for Orders authorising the stopping-up of highway rights over: (1) Railway Bridge 205, Allington; (2) Part of Road Used as a Public Path (RUPP) 19, Laverstock and Ford; on the grounds that the highways are unnecessary for public use. If the court makes the Order in respect of (1), an agreement to dedicate a BOAT (byway open to all traffic) over Bridge 204, Allington, will come into effect. Copies of the plans showing the effects of the Orders to be applied for may be inspected, free of charge, at County Hall, Trowbridge, during normal office hours. Please ask for Mr. Gale of Legal Services on 01225 713012. A plan is also posted at each site. Any person upon whom notice has been served, any person who uses the highways or any other person who could be aggrieved by the making of the Order is requested to inform the Solicitor to the Council (Ref: WCS 02680/03263), Wiltshire County Council, County Hall, Trowbridge BA14 8JN.
