THE ISLINGTON (WAITING AND LOADING RESTRICTION) (AMENDMENT NO. 26) TRAFFIC MANAGEMENT ORDER 2000
RELATING TO ALWYNE PLACE, ALWYNE ROAD, BALLS POND ROAD, BARING STREET, BARFORD STREET, CANONBURY GROVE, CANONBURY PLACE, CANONBURY ROAD, CHEVERTON ROAD, CLEPHANE ROAD SOUTH, COURTAULD ROAD, CROMARTIE ROAD, DOWNHAM ROAD, DRESDEN ROAD, ECCLESBOURNE ROAD, ELIZABETH AVENUE, ELMORE STREET, ENGLEFIELD ROAD, ESSEX ROAD, FAIRBRIDGE ROAD, FITZWARREN GARDENS, GRANGE GROVE, HALLIFORD STREET, HAZELLVILLE ROAD, HILLRISE ROAD, HORNSEY RISE GARDENS, HORNSEY ROAD, JUNCTION ROAD, LAMBTON ROAD, LIVERPOOL ROAD, MARQUESS ROAD, MILDMAY PARK, NEWINGTON GREEN ROAD, NEW NORTH ROAD, NORTHAMPTON STREET, OCKENDON ROAD, QUEENSBURY STREET, RIVERSDALE ROAD, ST. JOHN’S WAY, ST. PAUL’S ROAD, ST. THOMAS’S ROAD, SHAFTESBURY ROAD, SHEPPERTON ROAD, SOUTHGATE ROAD AND TREMLETT GROVE.
Notice is hereby given that the Islington Borough Council is proposing to make the above-mentioned Order under section 6 of the Road Traffic Regulation Act 1984, as amended. 2. The general effect of the Order would be to amend the existing and/or introduce additional Waiting and Loading Restrictions in certain parts of the above-named street. 3. A copy of the proposed Order, of plans indicating details of the measures referred to in paragraph 2 above, and of the Council’s statement of reasons for proposing to make the Order can be inspected during normal office hours until the end of a period of 6 weeks from the date on which the Order is made or, as the case may be, the Council decides not to make the Order at the following location: The Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, Islington, London N1 2UD. Please ask for Ref. LE/C/HGF. 4. Further information may be obtained by telephoning Hugh Forde on 020-7477 3301. 5. Any objections or other representations about the proposed Order should be sent in writing to the Head of Law and Solicitor to the Council, Legal Department, Town Hall, Upper Street, London N1 2UD, quoting Ref. LE/C/ HGF, within a period of 21 days from the date on which this notice is published. All objections or representations must specify the grounds on which they are made. J.
