PROPOSED STOPPING-UP OF HIGHWAY AND DIVERSION OF FOOTPATH AT SUNNEDON, BASILDON, ESSEX
Notice is given that application will be made by Basildon District Council (as Agents on behalf of Essex County Council, in its capacity as the Principal Highway Authority), to the Magistrates’ Court sitting at Basildon, on Thursday, 20th July 2000, at 10 a.m., for Orders that three separate portions of Sunnedon, a highway in the district of Basildon, in the county of Essex, coloured red and marked “A”, “B”, “C” on plans HI.2673.001 and HI.2673.002 shall be stopped up on the grounds that highway rights are no longer necessary, also that the footpath outlined blue on plan HI.2673.002 be diverted to the proposed route outlined in blue on plan HI.2673.001 on the grounds that it is equally near and commodious to the public. (The plans may be inspected, free of charge, at the Council Offices, The Basildon Centre, St. Martin’s Square, Basildon, Essex, during normal office hours). Any objection must be in writing and addressed to the Clerk to the Justices, Basildon Magistrates’ Court, Great Oaks, Basildon, Essex SS14 1EH, by 20th July 2000. K. B.
