NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR A LICENCE TO ABSTRACT WATER

Take notice that Cobdown Sports & Social Club of Station Road, Ditton, Aylesford is applying to the Environment Agency for a licence to abstract water from Ditton Stream at National Grid Reference TQ 71 58 at Ditton and Aylesford Parish. The proposal is to abstract water at the following rates: 9.4 cubic metres per hour, 55 cubic metres per day, 10,000 cubic metres per year between April and September each year. The water will be used for spray irrigation. A copy of the application and any map, plans and other documents submitted with it may be inspected, free of charge, at all reasonable hours at Cobdown Sports and Social Club between 9th June and 9th July 2000. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Environment Agency, Orchard House, Endeavour Park, London Road, Addington, West Malling, Kent ME19 5SH, before the end of the said period quoting the name of the applicant.
