WATER RESOURCES ACT 1991, SCHEDULE 10 (AS AMENDED BY THE ENVIRONMENT ACT 1995)

NOTICE OF APPLICATION FOR CONSENT FOR THE PURPOSES OF SECTION 88

Notice is hereby given in accordance with Schedule 10 of the above Act that an application has been made to the Environment Agency by The Crystal Spring Water Company Limited for consent to discharge up to a maximum of 64 cubic metres per day of trade effluent consisting of rinse water from a spring water bottling plant to the Didgley Brook, at National Grid Reference SP 2787 8774, from St. Davids Farm, Tamworth Road, Fillongley, Warwickshire. Any person who wishes to make representations about the application should do so in writing to the Water Quality Consents Officer, at the Agency’s offices, at Sentinel House, 9 Wellington Crescent, Fradley Park, Lichfield WS13 8RR, during the period 26th May 2000 to 7th July 2000 inclusive, quoting reference CP/UT/71886. The Environment Agency is committed to maintaining and, where possible, improving water quality. If, after full consideration of this application and any representations made by interested parties it is decided that consent can be granted, then conditions will be imposed to ensure that the effluent receives treatment before discharge to the receiving waters so that the above aims are met.
