NOTICE OF DEPOSIT OF A WASTE LOCAL PLAN
NORTH YORKSHIRE WASTE LOCAL PLAN
North Yorkshire County Council have prepared the above plan. If, and when, this plan is adopted it will form part of the development plan for North Yorkshire. The development plan forms the basis for decisions on land use planning affecting that area. Copies of the plan are available for public inspection at: North Yorkshire County Council, Environmental Services, County Hall, Northallerton; Richmondshire District Council, Springwell House, Richmond; Hambleton District Council, Civic Centre, Stone Cross, Northallerton; Ryedale District Council, Ryedale House, Malton; Scarborough Borough Council, Town Hall, Scarborough; Craven District Council, Council Offices, Granville Street, Skipton; Harrogate Borough Council, Planning Department, Knapping Mount, West Grove Road, Harrogate; Selby District Council, Civic Centre, Portholme Road, Selby, free of charge during normal office hours. Objections to, and representations in respect of, the plan should be sent in writing to Director of Environmental Services, County Hall, Northallerton DL7 8AH, before 7th July 2000. Objections and representations should specify the matters to which they relate and the grounds on which they are made.They may also be accompanied by a request to be notified at a specified address of the withdrawal, adoption, approval or rejection of the plan. Only objectors whose objections are made in writing and arrive at the address specified above within the 6 week period ending on 7th July 2000 will have a right to have their objections considered at a local inquiry or other hearing.
